The exhibition visit offers you the opportunity to learn more about the person of Joseph Haydn, his private life and his unforgettable music. Each room, chapter or object is marked with a headphone sign and a number. By entering this number, you will learn stories and stories about the composer and his time, accompanied by music and complemented by curator texts or accurate quotes.

Immerse yourself in the acoustic and visual world of the exhibition, make your tour flexible and linger longer on the objects that have particularly captured your attention.

The Haydn-House Eisenstadt welcomes guests from all over the world! Especially for travel groups we have multilingual offers that range from accompanying texts to audio guides to tours. Guided tours by external guides are also possible.

€ 29, - per guided group

Duration of the tour about 45 minutes.
Free place at one tour guide and/or one bus driver per booked group.

Group size 
Max. approx. 25 persons per guided group. If the group size exceeds the number of 25 people, the group will be split up and run at the same time or 45 minutes.

Bus parking: Meierhof, Glorietteallee daily 00:00 - 24:00
Price: € 4,– per started hour, daily maximum (from the 11th hour): € 40,– (for 24 hours)
Each additional day: € 40,– Night package: 20:00 - 08:00, € 10,– 

Barrier free
The historic Haydn-House Eisenstadt is unfortunately not barrier-free, as the exhibition space and the original living rooms of Joseph Haydn are located on the first floor and can only be reached by stairs.
